They all worked incredibly hard and we are very proud of the confidence and resilience they showed. 

As a reward for all their hard work last week and in the months leading up to the SATs, Year 6 had a trip to the beach! We were dropped off by the bus at Marsden and enjoyed a scenic walk along the cliff-top path to South Shields beach. Once we arrived on the beach, the children took no time in getting settled. They enjoyed games of football, burying each other in the sand, playing Frisbee and a very chilly paddle in the sea!

We are now looking forward to the last half term with Year 6 at Greenside with lots of fun things planned.
