This week is Water Safety Week across the country, so KS2 took part in a safety talk by a volunteer from the RNLI Lifeboats. KS1 and Early Years are going to be completing their own tasks in class with conversations linked to staying safe when going near a river or visiting the beach.

The volunteer explained the meaning of beach safety flags, how to float to live and why it's so important to respect the water. The children asked brilliant questions and showed great enthusiasm.
