In art lessons this term, Year 2 have been designing and creating 3D sculptures. In their first lesson, the class explored a range of ‘superhero’ poses to inspire their 3D sculptures. Then the children used wire and plasticine to turn their ideas into a three dimensional model. Year 2 enjoyed bending the arms and legs at the joints in order to perfect the superhero stance of their model to imagine their character running, fighting or even flying!
