Hancock Museum
This week, Year 3 had a great visit to the Hancock Museum in Newcastle, where we explored exhibits linked to our history topic on Ancient Egypt and our science unit on animals, including humans. In the Egyptian gallery, we saw real mummies, ancient artefacts, and fascinating hieroglyphs, which helped us imagine what life was like thousands of years ago. We learned about the Egyptians' beliefs, especially their love for animals like cats, which they thought were magical!
