Year 3 have had a fantastic first week back.

They have really enjoyed exploring 'Leon and the Place Between' in English lessons and have enjoyed using nouns, verbs and adjectives to improve sentences. They have all been trying very hard to use neat handwriting in all their lessons. In science, they began exploring why it is important to have a balanced diet and were excellent at identifying foods from each group! Their history lesson sparked an interest about Ancient Egypt, and they are looking forward to learning what life was like then. Year 3 have been enjoying their place value topic in maths this week. They really enjoyed counting in 100s, using tens and ones to help them.

It has been a brilliant week and it has been amazing to see such enthusiasm for learning! Well done and keep it up Year 3 – we are going to have a fantastic year!
