In Year 5, we have been learning about gravity and how it affects everything around us. We have used Newton meters to measure the force of gravity on different objects, which helps us understand how gravity pulls objects toward the Earth. The children enjoyed finding out how different objects weigh different amounts and measured the force of gravity in newtons. 

We have also been learning about friction. We conducted an investigation by pulling shoes across different surfaces, such as carpet, wood, and tile, to test how friction changes depending on the texture and material.
