Reception class have taken delivery of 5 duck eggs and an incubator. For the last 2 weeks, we have watched with awe and wonder as the eggs hatched and our ducklings arrived. We have observed them grow and change, which has inspired lots of opportunities for writing and drawing as well as developing lots of new, rich vocabulary to help us understand the world. The children have cared for the ducklings, giving them food and water daily as well as lots of exercise and attention.
