Year 3's Together Time

Year 3 welcomed their grown-ups into their classroom for a joining session and shared their learning about the Stone Age. The children and adults worked together to complete some arts and crafts activities.

As part of their learning last term, the children explored how hunter-gatherers lived, including how they built shelters to survive. They were very excited to get creative and build some mini shelters, thinking about whether they were strong, weatherproof and stable. The children watercoloured paper and crumpled it to give it a cave-like effect in preparation for their joining in session, and then were given the challenge of telling a story through some cave art.

There was lots of creativity, teamwork and fun in the session. Thank you to all the family members who joined us for our together time! Year 3 loved having you in their classroom, and we look forward to welcoming you again soon!
