Year 5 have made a fantastic start to the school year and have settled very well into their new class. They have already embraced the exciting challenge of learning the violin and are developing their cricket skills in PE. In Science, the children are exploring forces and how they affect the world around us, while continuing to strengthen their knowledge through regular times tables practice. In Geography, they are learning all about rivers and their importance to our environment. English got off to a very intriguing start when the children arrived at school to discover a suspicious and unusual crime scene, sparking lots of discussion, questions and imaginative writing opportunities!
