RISE Reception Network Lead School
RISE Reception Networks Lead School
We are pleased to share that Greenside Primary School has been selected by the Department for Education as a RISE Reception Networks Lead School as part of the national programme to strengthen Reception provision across England.
This recognition follows a national assessment process and reflects the quality of Reception practice within our school, the expertise of our early years team, and our commitment to supporting strong outcomes for children and families.
As a RISE Reception Networks Lead School, Greenside Primary School will work with schools and partners across the region to support high-quality Reception provision. Our role will include:
- Leading a local network focused on effective Reception practice
- Sharing resources and approaches through our website
- Hosting virtual network meetings
- Welcoming schools for in-person learning visits
- Working collaboratively with Local Authorities, Stronger Practice Hubs, Best Start Family Hubs, and English and Maths Hubs to strengthen support for children and families
We are looking forward to contributing to this important national programme and working alongside colleagues to support more children in achieving a Good Level of Development by 2028.
We would also like to thank our staff for their continued dedication and expertise, which have played an important part in this achievement.
