Anti-Bullying Week 10th November – 14th November

This year’s Anti-Bullying Week theme was Power for Good. The idea behind it is to empower children and young people to use their Power for Good to speak out, support others, and build a world where kindness wins.

We kicked off the week with Odd Socks Day to celebrate everyone’s individuality and uniqueness. This was followed by activities throughout the week which included

  • understanding what bullying is and how it can make people feel,
  • learning that everyone has a role in helping to stop bullying,
  • exploring ways we can use kindness and our power for good,
  • creating class kindness agreements and making kindness pledges,
  • demonstrating team work through completing an obstacle course,
  • designing a “Power for Good” superhero poster

Our Wellbeing Ambassadors also invented a scavenger hunt where each class had to follow clues to discover an important message.

The children have worked really hard all week and should be very proud.
