Today, Reception class visited The Rising Sun Country Park. We learned found out about habitats and went pond dipping to look for pond creatures. Next, we created some transient mini-beast art using natural materials. After our packed lunch, we went mini-beast hunting in the woodland. We found wood lice, worms, millipedes and lots more interesting creatures. We were very careful to return all the mini-beasts to their natural habitats.

We had a great day together.
