This week Year 5 had an introduction to playing the violin. Every child has been assigned their own violin which has been checked and tuned by our violin teacher. They were then taught how to correctly hold the violin and were taught a short tune which they played by plucking the strings. The children all enjoyed their first lesson and look forward to learning how to use a bow next week!
