Reception Class have been finding out about the meaning behind Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day. We have been reading Mr Wolf's Pancakes and then we wrote a shopping list for ingredients and then read a simple recipe to help Mr Wolf with his cooking. We measured and weighed the ingredients and whisked them together to create a batter. Our adults cooked the batter while we observed the changes safely. Then we chose from some toppings and enjoyed tucking into our pancakes.
