The children have made an excellent start to their Year 3 journey. We have been so impressed with how well everyone has settled into their new routines and how enthusiastic they have been about their learning.

The children have particularly enjoyed travelling back in time to discover the fascinating world of the Ancient Egyptians in history and in geography they have started their learning about world biomes.

We have also been very busy outside the classroom! The children have enjoyed developing their cricket skills with Sam from Durham Cricket Club, learning new techniques and working together as a team. They have also shown fantastic determination and resilience while taking part in cross-country.

Most importantly, the children have been working incredibly hard across all of their lessons, showing enthusiasm, curiosity and a positive attitude towards their learning.

We are extremely proud of everything they have achieved already and are looking forward to seeing what the rest of their Year 3 adventure brings!
