Year 6 rounded off their residential experience with another fantastic day of activities and challenges.

The children continued to challenge themselves and make the most of every opportunity, taking part in gorge walking at Stoneycroft Ghyll, the high ropes course and an exploration of Goldscope Mine.

It has been wonderful to see the confidence, resilience and teamwork shown by all of Year 6 throughout the residential. The children have embraced every challenge, supported one another and thrown themselves into each activity with enthusiasm.

As our time at Derwent Hill comes to an end, the children are certainly feeling tired after three action-packed days, but they are also leaving with great memories, stronger friendships and plenty of stories to share when they return home. We are incredibly proud of them all and the way they have represented the school throughout their stay at Derwent Hill.
