They learnt about things Jews might do to celebrate their new year and the foods that they might eat. Year 1 tried some apples dipped in honey which symbolise the hope for a sweet new year. They all agreed that it was delicious and would like to say shanah tova to anybody who is celebrating Rosh Hashanah.
