Last week we were very lucky to have a visitor come into our class to tell us all about what it is like to celebrate Diwali. We listened to the story of Rama and Sita and learnt all about light over darkness. We even took part in some dancing! We really enjoyed taking part in some of the celebration...

Year 3's Great North Museum Trip!
Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Great North Museum! They explored the Ancient Egyptian gallery and saw a real mummy! They enjoyed working out secret messages using hieroglyphs and learning all about the Egyptians' journey to the afterlife. They even found a replica of the Rosetta Stone...
